Background
Retail Merchandising Services (RMS) is located in Plymouth, MN, just minutes away from downtown Minneapolis. RMS merchandises exclusively at Target Stores and has been doing so since 1985. With over 700 employees in 47 states, RMS has a Rep within 10 miles of every Target Store nationwide, including all Super Targets.

Flexible Services
RMS services are very flexible and can be set up to accommodate almost any type of services within any combination of Target stores. In addition, these services can be performed on a one time basis, multiple times, or on a recurring basis.
RMS Reps report their service results to the Home Office immediately after completing their service. Results are compiled daily and recapped to the manufacturer throughout the service.
Some of the services RMS can provide:
- Planogram Sets
- Endcap Sets
- Replenishment of product on special displays
- Planogram maintenance and integrity to ensure revisions are completed
- Assist with Marketing Returns and Quality Control Returns
- Auditing product to find defects and ensure proper signage and labels are displayed
- Adhering IRC's to assist in product promotions
- Organizing stock and brochures and making sure all shipments received are merchandised on fixtures/displays
- Researching inventory levels and working with the stores to update inventory counts in Target's computer system as necessary
Target Expertise
We have received Target's Vendor of the Year award multiple times. RMS is vendor certified by Target for creating planograms with Intercept/Prospace and using Info Retriever for analysis. RMS employees are vender certified to use the LRT to pull product (inventory) from the back room, replace missing planogram labels, and replace missing signs. In addition, RMS employees have our own Target issued vendor ID to use Target's LRT guns (laser radio technology).
Our executive team has over 30 years of Target store experience, including 20 years of Store Manager (Store Team Leader) experience. This enables us to be the Target experts when it comes to merchandising.
